Jersey Skeeters
President: Ginger Tornambe
Email:
About the Skeeters: The Jersey Skeeters are a diversified group of RV'ers who like to camp and travel together. Our regular meetings are usually held at our campouts throughout the year. We have one off-season meeting to get the year off and rolling, usually in March. Our first outing this year is in April, a trip to Mill Bridge Village Camp Resort in Lancaster, PA. with a side trip to Sight and Sound that weekend. Some other campouts are to the Samborees in NJ and some neighboring states; Gettysburg, PA; Delaware Family Campground where we can raft down the Delaware River, upstate New York; and some local campgrounds right here in New Jersey.
We try to camp together at least once a month. We like to try new places but we also have some favorites we like to return to. We share fun and games, shopping trips, and covered dish dinners out on the trail. We live all over the state of New Jersey with a few members in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
Did I mention kids? Most in our group are adults with grown children who from time to time bring their children and grandchildren on our campouts. We enjoy relaxing together but make time for family fun.
If you enjoy camping with others and sharing good times, the Jersey Skeeters are perfect for you. For more information about our chapter, contact Ginger at 732-636-3715 or e-mail me Happy Trails!

Recent vacation trips of this sort have been to Bar HarborMaine, Lake ChamplainVermont, Mackinaw CityMichigan, Pigeon Ford Tennessee (Dollywood), Niagara Falls, CharlestonSC, and the Sky Line Drive VA. Each year we make several 3 to 5 day trips. These trips are closer to home including LancasterCountyPA, AnnapolisMD, Chesapeake Bay area, and New YorkState as well as some NJ locations. On our trips we like to do a combination of camp dining and eating at restaurants. The destinations of our trips are selected from member suggestions. By January, a full year's schedule will be prepared and presented to the members. There is NO COST for joining and maintaining membership in our Chapter. No initiation fees or annual dues are in effect. The only requirement is that our members must be members of International Good Sam. We make the reservations for all trips and then you pay the campgrounds directly. Usually an advance deposit that can be secured by a credit card is necessary with the balance due upon arrival. Members are free to attend as many or as few of the trips as they as they choose.

Good Sam Sandsnipers
President: Don Harms
Email:
About the Sandsnipers:"We are a Good Sam Chapter that enjoys the world of RVing. We camp throughout New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. We camp the second weekend of each month from April through November. We also have a Christmas party in December and a winter meeting/dinner in February.
The membership of the club is primarily located in South Jersey. We do, however, have members in Delaware, Pennsylvania and North Jersey. Members are required to attend only two camp outs per year to maintain their membership. The majority of the members make many more than the minimum.
The typical camping weekend begins on Friday with arrivals and setting up. The Wagonmaster is on hand to help with setup. Friday night we gather around the campfire to exchange stories of trips, experiences or just plain talk. We also have coffee and donuts provided by the club. Saturday is open for everyone to do whatever they want. Some take off to enjoy the local sights and shop. The Wagonmaster provides a booklet at the winter meeting with local attractions at each campground. Sometimes members work on a charity project. There are always horseshoes, washer toss, bocce and dominoes. Saturday night there is a pot luck dinner for those who care to participate. Sunday mornings are usually a lot of fun. You might see some of the men running around in chef's hats. If this happens it means they are cooking breakfast for the club. Whatever comes out of the rigs is what gets cooked. The some start to breakdown or hang out and eat lunch before leaving. There are also meetings held three times a year. "

Good Sam Happy Nomads
President: Alan Thornton
Email:
About the Happy Nomads: Our Club started in 1986 is one of the oldest in New Jersey. We are an eclectic group of retired individuals, semi-retired non conformists, and just plain loafers with slightly twisted minds. We like to laugh. Irreverent jokes and comments often fly freely around the fire. We like to socialize and eat, occasionally organizing communal meals, such as “Stone Soup.” We like the “five for five for five” drink specials and if we promise you pictures, FORGET IT. Your never gong to get them. We seldom search for a campsite beyond 150 miles(primarily because none of our rigs will go much farther….) We also like to take advantage of the camp one night and get the second free offers as well as Good Sam discounts. As our name suggests, we are Happy, Happy, Happy(mainly because we don’t know any better….)! We welcome campers with differing views and opinions, it keeps life interesting. On the serious side,(and we’re not often serious), we support a home for emotionally troubled teenagers at Christmas time.
