April 24-26, Knoebels Campground

 

Back by popular demand! We will be booking 12 sites for opening weekend at Knoebels Amusement Park. We will be camping just a short walking distance to the amusement park. The park features pay as you go rides or unlimited daily hand stamp. The food in the park is and very good and reasonably priced. The sites are electric only and there are water stations to fill up at. There is a dump station on the way out. We will provide reservation details when they become available. www.knoebels.com

 

May 22-25, Beachcomber Campground, Cape May, New Jersey

June 12-14, Camp Taylor, Columbia, New Jersey

 

Camp Taylor Campground is located on 400 pristine acres adjacent to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and the Appalachian Trail, New Jersey's most majestic terrain. The heavily wooded mountain ridges provide large shaded sites with a remote wilderness setting and miles of hiking trails. July 10-12, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Birchwood Acres, Woodridge, New York

July 24-26, Korn’s Campground, Middletown, NY

 

Come to the Orange County Fair! The Orange County Fair is an annual fair held in Wallkill, New York. Beef and dairy cattle, sheep, goats, arts, crafts,  pies, cakes, breads, needlework, flowers and plants by the thousands will all be competing for the traditional blue ribbons. Entertainment includes rides, shows, motorcycle stunt riding and music. http://www.orangecountyfair.com. Korn’s Campground is a very quiet campground with a nice pool. Sites are wooded and near a very shallow river. Cool off from the July heat in the river. Bring a chair, an old pair of sneakers and a cocktail and wade in the river.

 

August 7-9, Keene Lake, Waymart, Pennsylvania

Keen Lake Camping and Cottage Resort is a privately owned 90-acre spring fed mountain lake, located in the scenic northern Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania just off Route 6 . This is the weekend of the Wayne County Fair.  www.keenlake.com  

 

August 22-31, Frontiertown, Ocean City Maryland

 

Maryland’s premier camping resort! This campground features a water park with a giant water slide, lazy river and large activity pool! Don’t forget there is a full schedule of activities and fishing and crabbing off the piers. September 18-20, American Family Campground

October 9-12, Columbus Day Weekend – Lake In Wood Campground, Narvon, Pennsylvania

 

This campground features a magnificent entertainment hall with a beautifully restored pipe organ for hosting grand parties and resort gatherings. Other pavilions are available for smaller groups (the Gnome Bridge Club are regulars). Adults can enjoy the picturesque views and intimate setting of the lake-view terrace. May 2-4th, Knoebels Campground.

Call Knoebels at 800-487-4386, reservation is under JT Bolger. We will be camping in Knoebels, a short walk into the amusement park. Knoebels is a pay as you go or wristband park. If you want to walk and just eat their award winning food that’s fine. Clean park. Knoebels campground is electric only. There are water stations to fill up at. Sewer on the way out. Cost $35.00 per night.

July 12-19 Bayleys Campground, Old Orchard Beach, Maine. www.bayleys-camping.com

Big park with lots of kids activities, approximately 5.5 hours away, water park, beach and more nearby, similar amenities to Lake George RV Park. Rate looks to be $490 for a Baileys basic w/e/s. Rate is for a family of four, $420 for two adults for the week. Email J.T./Bevin for Sites. Only 2 sites are left in our area and need to be booked this week.

August 28-Sept. 1 Mount Pocono Campground, Mt Pocono, PA

Medium sized park, close to Camel Beach Water park (heated water park) Large sites close to pool. The last hurrah for summer. Located right off of Route 80. We have 7 sites reserved, you need to call Peggy and she has a file with JT group and will give you a site and take your deposit. The phone number is (570) 839-8950. Once you book, please let me know so I can keep up to date on the number of sites we have left. These are full hook up sites w/e/s/c in the Hemlock section which is close to the pool etc. I have asked that we be in the first and second rows. Once the group has booked she will send out confirmations.

Cost is as follows: $45.00per night for two adults Ages 6-12 is $5.00 per night. Good Sam discount to be taken from the total number of nights and extra kids.

Kids under 6 no extra charge. This Campground is less than two hours, it is located off Route 80 or you can come the back way over the Gap. So traffic shouldn’t be an issue.

December 5-6th, The Annual Hershey Migration. As requested a return to Hershey for the winter, come see Dennis’s famous “I hope it doesn’t snow” dance. We more than likely will stay back up on the hill in the same sites as last year. Due to the non overwhelming demand at Hershey during this time, booking details as follows: The sites in previous years we have taken are up top. They are electric only, but very convenient to the playground. Everyone is on their own booking.
